Athenaeum Mystery Book Club: The Lonely Witness

January 7 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

The Athenaeum Mystery Book Club is free and open to the general public.
January Pick: The Lonely Witness by William Boyle
Amy lives a lonely life, helping the house-bound receive communion in the Gravesend neighborhood of Brooklyn. Oneof her regulars, Mrs. Epifanio, says she hasn’t seen her usual caretaker, Diane, in a few days. Supposedly, Diane has the flu—or so Diane’s son Vincent said when he first dropped by and vanished into Mrs. E’s bedroom to do no-one-knows-what.
The Athenaeum Mystery Book Club is hosted by Resource Description and Access Librarian Lois Reibach. Non-members are welcome and encouraged to join this ‘thrilling’ group! Each month’s books are picked at the end of each meeting.
Zoom information will be sent to the email you provided during registration.
Upcoming Dates:

March 4
April 1
May 6
The Athenaeum of Philadelphia is an independent member-supported library and museum that engages members, scholars and the interested general public to join actively in the cultural and intellectual life of Philadelphia and participate in historical, literary and educational activities. To that end, the Athenaeum must be a diligent steward of its National Historic Landmark building and its collections of books, manuscripts, architectural drawings, photographs, and historic objects.
