LiteraryPhilly.org is a free, public calendar created for Philly’s literary community to share their events free of charge. Alongside an ever-growing list of resources (including independent bookstores, literary organizations, writing workshops, reading series, and more), anyone can use this resource to explore the dozens of literary events that occur in the greater Philadelphia metropolitan area each month.

In order to keep the site running, an administrator reviews every submission, a developer makes necessary updates to the site, and funds are provided to pay for the domain name, hosting service, and plugin used to run the calendar. If you would like to support this community resource, consider making a tax-deductible donation to supplement the work and cost it takes to keep the site running. We also accept sponsorship from local literary ventures.

Initial funds for the page were made available by the 215 Festival, Philly’s literary arts festival since 2001, while the site is administered and maintained by Amy Saul-Zerby of Blue Stoop, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting literature in Philadelphia and offering writing workshops taught by some of the city’s most noted authors. The site was developed by Lisa Yoder. For information on how we use your data, please visit our privacy policy page.
